Our computing curriculum is designed to equip pupils with skills to use computational thinking and creativity to understand and change the world. With deep links into other subjects and a core of computer science, our intent is that pupils can build on this knowledge and understanding, and are equipped to use information technology to create programs, systems and a range of content. We also intend that children will become digitally literate, be able to express themselves and develop their ideas through information and communication technology. As children progress through the school, they should develop an understanding of and be able to apply principles and concepts of computer science and become responsible, competent, confident and creative users of information and communication technology.
